April 15th, 2026 2026 Rulemaking Update In response to public requests, CDFA is extending the public comment period and scheduling a public hearing for the proposed revisions for the cannabis appellations program . The written comment period for the proposed modifications that began on Friday, March 13, 2026, and was originally scheduled to end on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, is extended to Thursday, April 30, 2026.
