Why Become a Member?

The Nevada County Cannabis Alliance plays a vital role in shaping policies that strengthen the economic sustainability and success of our locally licensed cannabis industry.

Our wins:

  • Allow for an increase in garden canopy expansion

  • Reform local tax

  • Allow vertical integration through microbusiness licenses

  • Expand retail sales and temporary cannabis events in North San Juan and Soda Springs

  • Veto exclusionary zones

  • Allow for permitted cannabis businesses to operate in industrial zones in the unincorporated county

  • Currently working on regulating cannabis like agriculture

And, the work still is not done!

Together, we can create stronger cannabis policy, build a thriving network of farmers and businesses, and create a healthier, more vibrant future for our cannabis community and future generations to come!

(Industry Members are licensed Nevada County based cannabis businesses and/or those seeking a license)
