The event will bring together policymakers and regulators, academic researchers and university partners, cannabis industry leaders, community members, legacy cannabis cultivators, breeders, and advocates for a collaborative public conversation centered on the preservation, documentation, and future of California's legacy cannabis genetics and cultivation communities.

The Legacy Genetics Project is inviting community members from CA’s legacy-producing communities to apply for the Community Advisory Board (CAB). Applications are open through December 31st, 2025.
