1 min read

Cal Poly Humboldt and CSU, Chico launched a project in 2026, with support by the Campbell Foundation, to document the diversity of licensed cannabis cultivation across Northern California and collaboratively identify viable pathways with farmers to regenerative management and resilient communities.

BENEFITS TO FAMERS:

  • Expert Agricultural Support

  • Customized Farming Solutions

  • Farm Assessment Reports:

  • Cultivation & Water Systems

  • Cost-based Analysis

  • Soil Health

  • Farm System Resources

  • Knowledge Sharing Community Events

Participation in the project involves several farm visits over approximately two years, including an introductory farm tour, a site assessment, soil sampling, and ethnographic interviews. Throughout the project, our approach is collaborative, and we hope to learn from growers' experiences and knowledge of regenerative farming practices.
