Representing Nevada County's Craft Cannabis Industry
We are a non-profit trade association whose mission is to provide advocacy, education and opportunities for connection to support a thriving local cannabis industry. Our values are steeped in economic development, environmental stewardship and craft cannabis.
Who We Are
Alliance members are innovators who have a passion for cannabis and the community in which we live. We are pioneering small farmers, artisanal product formulators, medicine makers, cannabis educators and advocates. We represent local independent cannabis businesses and those who support a resilient local cannabis industry.
Your membership helps support year-round, local and state, policy and advocacy work; maintaining a consistent and professional voice and representation with local and state officials; advocating for reasonable regulations and a safe and vibrant cannabis industry.
Year round member benefits keep you up-to-date, engaged, and offer extensive resources to help you succeed.
We are fortunate to have the support of many businesses who understand the impact the cannabis industry has on our local economy and throughout many ancillary industries.
The Allied Industry Business program offers year round visibility opportunities for businesses to market themselves directly to Alliance members and the greater community. Allied Industry Businesses are proud supporters of the important work of the Alliance and a thriving cannabis industry here in Nevada County.
"Since before a cannabis ordinance existed in Nevada County the Cannabis Alliance has been advocating as a voice of strategic and knowledgeable reason, helping to represent a subculture that has kept the local economy alive. The Alliance has helped bring a large and active part of the community into the legal cannabis industry, economically benefiting the county. Throughout numerous projects they've offered me advice, tactics and general knowledge. I continue to be grateful for their support and participation as we navigate the misconceptions and ever changing policies that the industry faces."
