AB 564 to Stop a Cannabis Tax Increase Heads to Senate Appropriations Committee

The cannabis tax has increased from 15% to 19% as of July 1st. AB564 was heard on August 18th at the Senate Appropriations Committee, where it is being held in suspense. The committee must move the bill from suspense by August 29th so that it will have a floor vote.

There is still a chance to reverse the unfair tax increase from 19% back to 15%. Time to take action!
