Roles & Responsibilities
Hours 18 - 20 hours/week
10am - 4pm, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri, as needed
Founded in 2016, The Nevada County Cannabis Alliance (The Alliance) is a 501c4 trade association with a mission to provide advocacy and education to support the Nevada County Cannabis Industry.
We are seeking a rockstar to add to our team who is passionate about supporting small cannabis farmers and has the ability to manage multiple projects and simultaneous responsibilities.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years with project management and communication experience.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to execute a wide range of responsibilities to assist with the day to day flow of the Alliance.
Passion for supporting the local cannabis industry
High attention to detail, the ability to work independently, impeccable organization skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
You must be a self starter with a collaborative demeanor.
Proficiency with social media (Facebook and Instagram)
Excellent writing skills, please submit writing samples
Experience with Google Docs a must
Experience with Wix, CRM software preferred or ability to be trained
High School degree required, BA strongly preferred.

Office Administrator: 15%
General administrative tasks
Communications Functions 20%
Coordinate bi-monthly newsletter sent from Alliance to email list:
Oversee all aspects of Wix website including; content updates, email newsletters and any tech support needs with web designer
Social Media Management.
Coordinate the production of flyers and media to publicize alliance events
Write member email blasts and Slack messages on behalf of the Alliance
Event/Workshop/Webinar Coordination 15%
Prepare and execute an annual Get Legit education program and coordinate member meetings
Organize all logistical needs for events and online webinars, including publicity of events
Membership Coordination & Engagement: 35%
Member relationship management and outreach to provide support, check-ins, follow ups, as needed for members and sponsors
Prepare monthly permitting reporting data from local and state database
Act as a representative of the Alliance at community and Alliance events, providing education about the Alliance.
Oversee all aspects of the CRM system
Execute membership education calls
Keep internal communication channel, Slack, updated with local/state/federal policy updates, event information, new articles etc.
Grant Management 10%
Oversee the timeline and implementation of 1-2 grants per year.
Draft and develop grant budgets, pay all associated grant bills, create grant invoices
Draft content for grant submissions, mid-project review and final reports
Policy Support 5%
Research
Review of meeting agendas
