Tips for the Seasonal Transition and Gentle Cleanse Ideas
This class will cover the importance of seasonal transitions and how to maintain balance throughout.
You can learn to take better care of yourself and feel balanced as you move through the seasons when you understand nature and how the seasons can affect you from within and from external sources.
Greater health and well-being can be achieved by staying in harmony with the change in seasons.
In this class we will address seasonal eating, herbs, daily routines and cleansing ideas.
About Kim Kinjo
Kim moved to Nevada County in 1990. The first five years were spent in Truckee, shoveling snow, cooking and baking in restaurants, skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking and building a successful massage practice. She earned her massage certification down the hill in Nevada City at the Phillips School of Massage.
In 1996 she moved to Nevada City to work at the massage school. Kim began building a thriving massage practice here. Herbal studies also began with Kathi Keville in Grass Valley and then onto Placerville with Candis Cantin, who first introduced her to Ayurveda.
Kim continued her studies of Ayurvedic Medicine at the California College of Ayurveda here in Nevada City. While maintaining her own practice, Kim has also worked for the College of Ayurveda, Sivananda Ashram and Blue Sage Ayurveda.
Kim divides her time now between her office in Nevada City and her home life on “the Ridge” in North San Juan. She enjoys making herbal products, spending time taking care of her mom, dancing, singing, gardening, going to the river and being entertained by her husband, dog and cat.
